James Keene

James Keene currently dances with Santa Monica Contemporary Ballet and choreographs/produces work with Earthwalk Dance Company. A professional dancer since the age of ten, he has performed in numerous musical theatre productions. A graduate of Boston Conservatory (B.F.A - Dance Performance and Choreography), James has danced with the Boston Ballet, Ballet Theater of Boston, and Beth Soll until assuming the role of Dance Master for the Dorothy Farnon Dance Company. James also danced with the Nevada Festival Ballet until his relocation to Southern California, when he began working with Donlavy Dance Company. In 2006, James began Earthwalk Dance Company, an institution based within the philosophy that movement is a healing art form, rooted within its freedom of expression, unique for each individual's earth walk. James danced the role of Slim in CDT's "Hicka's Golden Nugget".
